New stretching and ELDOA classes land on the app featuring Global Dynamic Normalization (GDN) exercises...

...but these aren't stretching classes at all! What?! Last month, I was studying with Dr Guy Voyer in the Dominican Republic. I took a brand new course with new exercises he had been creating over his career and lifetime, called GDN exercises. Global Dynamic Normalization: dynamic exercises for fascial normalization to move the fluid in the body.

“Water is life.” Dr Guy Voyer DO

70% of the body is water and the movement of this fluid is key to balance in the body. Tissue homoeostasis depends on the efficiency of cellular metabolism and the quality of ionic conduction.

Pressure is needed to move liquid. Hence dynamic bodily movement is essential to ensure proper liquid movement.

When should I take these GDN (non-stretching) classes?

You can't go wrong with these classes. Take them before a workout, after a workout, after a long day at a desk, jetlagged, before bed or other. And although these aren't static stretches, your body will feel more freedom after you finish them.

For these exercises, I want you to do maximum effort but with the most fluidity and relaxation possible. These exercises will create a new environment for you to work in. Dr Voyer would say that “if there are no new questions in exercise, there is no need to adapt.” With that said, I have enjoyed practicing these exercises myself, seeing my body adapt to the new stimulus, and I am so excited to bring them now to you anytime, anywhere on the app!
